Twist is Doist's async-first team messaging app — built around threads inside channels rather than Slack-style fast-flowing chat, on the bet that fewer interruptions produce better thinking. Tiny Command exposes five actions, no triggers (Twist's outbound integrations are configured per-channel in the Twist UI; for event-driven workflows, configure a Twist integration that POSTs to a Tiny Command webhook trigger URL): Create Channel, Delete Channel, List Channels, Create Thread (the standard "start a new conversation in this channel"), and Post Comment (reply to an existing thread). The connection uses Twist OAuth. Twist's thread-based model is the right fit for workflows that need a durable conversation rather than ephemeral chat — for example, a deploy workflow that opens a new thread per release with the changelog as the first post, and downstream comments from monitoring add to the same thread. The model intentionally discourages "everything in a single channel" which makes the thread-per-event pattern feel natural.
